§ 8-12-4-8. DEPARTMENTAL TRANSFER OR DISCHARGE, SAFETY PROCEDURES.

Where the Department so transfers or discharges residents, it shall arrange for the preparation of the resident transfer or discharge plans to ensure safe and orderly removal and to protect residents' health, safety, welfare and rights. In nonemergencies and, where possible, in emergencies, the Department shall design and implement such plans in advance of transfer or discharge.
